NOTE: Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg is in the process of purchasing Saab from General Motors, so information on future products is sketchy. Here's what we know so far...
CONFIRMED FOR 2010:
9-3X: (photo) Think of the 9-3X as Saab's answer to the Subaru Outback -- a 9-3 SportCombi wagon with all-wheel-drive, a raised (1.4") suspension with a load-leveling feature, and dark-grey lower body trim. Power comes from a 210 horsepower 2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a choice of 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
9-5: An all-new 9-5 goes on sale in the spring of 2010. The 9-5 features styling inspired by the Aero X comcept car. The 9-5 will offer several engines ranging from a 180 hp 1.6 liter turbo 4 to a 300 hp 2.8 liter turbo V6; the powertrain lineup will include diesel and E85 engines.
BEYOND 2010:
9-4X: The 9-4X crossover SUV will replace the slow-selling 9-7X, and will be built on a General Motors platform.
