CONFIRMED FOR 2011:

ECLIPSE: The Eclipse gets a new black roof, lowered ride height, and a 12 volt accessory power outlet, and the mid-level GS Sport gets more standard equipment (including heated leather seats) with no increase in price over the 2010 GS Sport.

ECLIPSE SPYDER: The convertible version of the Eclipse gets the same changes as the coupe (except, of course, for the roof, which was already black).

ENDEAVOR: The top-of-the-line SE model gets a navigation system, sunroof, backup camera and cargo cover as standard.

GALANT: Like the Eclipse, the Galant's ride height has been lowered by half an inch, which improves aerodynamics and increases fuel economy. All Galants get a new chrome beltline molding, and the top-of-the-line Galant SE now comes with a sunroof, HomeLink, auto-dimming rear view mirror, and illuminated visor mirrors as standard.

LANCER: The 5-door "Sportback" is now available in ES trim, priced just $400 more than the ES sedan. All Lancers get a new electric power steering system, which is partially responsible for across-the-board increases in fuel economy. GTS and Ralliart models get Mitsubishi's new FUSE HandsFree Link, which allows voice control of cell phones, iPods and USB drives. A USB port is now standard on GTS and Ralliart and optional on the Lancer ES.

LANCER EVOLUTION: Mitsubishi's 291 hp all-wheel-drive terror gets a retuned exhaust (for better sound), standard USB port, and the above-mentioned FUSE HandsFree Link system. The optional navigation system now has real-time traffic info. GSR models get a bigger trunks spoiler, while the MR gets a smaller one.

OUTLANDER: All Outlanders have been tuned for better fuel economy. The mid-level XLS gets more standard equipment, including HID headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and exterior trim similar to the top-of-the-line Outlander GT. The entry-level Outlander SE gets a third-row seat as standard.

OUTLANDER SPORT: (photo) The Outlander Sport is a new mini-SUV based on the Lancer platform. It's almost a foot and a quarter shorter than an Outlander, and is powered by a 148 horsepower 2.0 liter engine.
