The 2011 Buick Regal is a rebadged version of GM's European-market Opel Insignia. The base model of Buick's new mid-size sedan will be powered by a 182 hp 2.4 liter direct-injected engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission; a 220 horsepower 2-liter turbocharged engine will be optional. THe hot-rod Regal GS will follow later in the model year, combining the 2-liter turbo engine with an available manual transmission.
