Test Drive: 2004 Lexus RX330

I can't claim to have been a fan of the first RX model, the trend-setting RX300. Why? Oh, as much as I hate to admit it, it was purely sexist. You see, whenever my wife mentioned she liked the RX300 I'd come back with the "It's a girl's SUV." Don't hate me, I got enough of that from the missus! And now we have an all-new 2004 edition. I'd be hard pressed to explain why I like this version and not the older version, however. Maybe it's such a perfectly-refined vehicle that it has found its appeal for everyone. Or maybe I finally see what everyone has always seen. Thank goodness for second chances. Bob Schulties
