Test drive: 2008 Cadillac STS

I've found myself becoming quite attached to General Motors over the past couple of years. They are, after all the home team, and I've sung their praises when they hit home runs and booed just as loudly when they struck out. So I was really looking forward to the STS' arrival here at About.com Cars HQ -- I love the edgy styling and the 300+ horsepower direct-injection V6 sounded like a hot prospect. I’d really like to know who GM is targeting for this car. Most people who can spring for this kind of money can find far more impressive marques that will outperform and outimpress than the now hobbled Cadillac brand. Except in Palm Beach/Boca Raton…but they’re getting too old to drive!!!
