Follow-up test: 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport

I first tested the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class last spring at a Mercedes-sponsored press event. At the time I found a lot to like, but I was a bit put off by the lack of luxury inside the cabin. This past week, I got the chance to drive the C-class on home turf -- a C300 Sport with a 6-speed manual transmission. At under $30 it would be acceptable to have the cheapie plastics on a M-B. But once you pass that threshold…sorry, no sale!
