Alfa Romeo Spider

If your idea of an Alfa Romeo Spider is the classic convertible seen in The Graduate, this may come as a bit of a shock. That Spider ceased production in the mid 90s, right about the time Alfa pulled out of the US market. The modern-day Spider, introduced in 2006, is a two-seat soft-top based on the Brera coupe. Like the Brera, the Spider offers a handful of engine choices, the most powerful being the 250 hp/237 lb-ft 3.2 V6 and the 210 hp/295 lb-ft 5-cyl turbodiesel, and front- or all-wheel-drive.
