CONFIRMED:

ECLIPSE/ECLIPSE SPYDER: (photo) The Eclipse gets revised front and rear styling, three new colors, and upgraded seat cloth. GT models get a more thorough treatment, with two-tone bumper fascias, a bigger rear wing, high-intensity discharge headlights, standard electronic stability control, and a new (and louder) dual exhaust system that bumps engine output from 263 to 265 horsepower.

GALANT: (photo) Restyled for 2009. All models get a manual-shifting option for their automatic transmissions.

LANCER: The GTS model (photo) gets a bigger (2.4) liter engine to further differentiate it from 2-liter DE and ES models. Mitsubishi will finally field a competitor to the Subaru Impreza WRX in the form of the 2009 Lancer Ralliart (photo). The Ralliart features a 237 horsepower version of the 2.0 liter engine found in the Lancer Evolution, self-shifting Twin Clutch-SST transmission (similar to VW/Audi's DSG), and all-wheel-drive.

LANCER EVOLUTION: The Evo will skip the 2009 model year, but you should still be able to find 2008 models at your local dealership. A mildly-enhanced Evo will reappear in 2010.
